Upside Down Text Generator — Flip Text to Copy & Paste
Who this is for: For the profile-name flip, the inverted group-chat title, and every "wait, how did you do that?" moment in chats — zero apps needed.
Not the right tool for: Flipping images or emoji — only letters, digits, and common punctuation have flipped twins; emoji and CJK pass through unchanged · Important readable text — flipped text requires effort (or a head-tilt) to read; that's the point, but don't use it for instructions
Flip your text 180°: upside-down and mirrored styles that read backwards — the classic profile-name and chat prank.
Quick answer: Upside-down text swaps each letter for a rotated Unicode twin and reverses the string: "Hello World" → plɹoM ollǝH. Turn your device around and it reads normally. The mirrored variant (blɿoW ollɘH) flips letters left-to-right instead.
14/200 characters — every style updates live. Nothing you type leaves your browser.

How does upside-down text work?
Two operations run together: every letter is swapped for a turned or rotated Unicode look-alike (h → ɥ, e → ǝ, W → M), and the whole string is reversed so it reads correctly when rotated 180°. That's why "Hello World" comes back as plɹoM ollǝH — flip your phone (or your head) and it reads normally. The Mirrored style keeps a left-to-right flip instead: letters swap for their mirror twins (b ↔ d, p ↔ q) and the word order reverses, like text seen in a reflection: blɿoW ollɘH.
